Butcher, Baker

The Bridal Party started the day with Shloer Bucks Fizz. I didn't dare touch alcohol before the ceremony so this was a good alternative. It's actually really nice, and the little bridemaids thought they were really grown up because they thought they were drinking real bucks fizz! bless 'em. I did have some "harder" stuff (pink cava) which some bridesmaids decided they needed ;)

Welcome drink: Pimms (you can't beat Pimms on a warm summers day)
Wine: Some very nice Argentinian wine I can't remember the name of. All I could tell you was that it tasted good and my dad choose it!
Toast: a vintage Port - My dad is in the Armed Forces and Port as a toast is a bit of a tradition, plus you get a great deal more for your money than you do with champagne

We also had some Porter from Burton Bridge Brewery which still has the traditional get-spinters-in-your-hands bowling alley upstairs. They also do the most amazing fruit wines.
