Our final Hotel Chocolat tasting box arrived today and they look gorgeous. This time there is far more interesting sounding chocolates including Blackcurrant Pannacotta and Pure Pistachio Praline. No chocolate can be as bad as the Tamarind chocolate in last months selection that tasted like a cheap chocolate orange fondant.
I've just booked our tickets for the Good Food Show in Birmingham and I can't wait. We went a few years ago and saw Gordon Ramsey in the Supertheatre, but this year we can't get to see any of our chefs of choice as they have sold out. Well I suppose at least that gives us longer in the wine/beer tasting section!
Hubbie has just brought a very rusty 1951 Austin Healey "frogeye" Sprite. It's the same type of car as we had on our wedding day. For those that are interested he has set up his own blog about the restoration: Frog Blog

Ooooh, the chocs look so good!
ReplyDeleteI'll go and have a look at your husband's new project - I would love an Austin Healey!
I wouldn't dare join the Hotel Chocolat tasting club - I'd just overdose on all those delicious chocolates! Hope you enjoy them. I too am going to the GFS at B'ham this winter. Hard work but good fun! My son is representing his company on one of the wine stands.
ReplyDeleteI *love* Hotel Chocolat. I try to stay away from their shops, as I have no will power.
ReplyDeleteTheir caramel chocolate drops are my downfall.
